Delicious Desserts is a specialty cake studio located in Falmouth, Massachusetts, serving Cape Cod, Boston and Newport.

Our award winning designer, Lisa Raffael, has made Delicious Desserts one of the areas most sought after cake studios. Our passion is creating cakes, cupcakes and desserts for all occasions that provide a stunning, spectacular presentation sure to wow your guests, and taste as good as they look!

Each cake is tailor made for each client. From our initial contact, through the design process, to delivery – literally every step of the way – you are our priority, receiving our full, personal attention, and our dedication to every detail.

From stunning fondant creations, to the casual sophistication and elegance of velvety buttercream, or whimsical cupcakes, our designer will work with you to create a simply gorgeous creation that is truly yours – reflecting your style, vision and personality, while perfectly capturing the unique look,  feel and emotion of your event.

We take pride in our cakes being baked fresh, made to order, and never frozen.  We use only the finest ingredients available, taking advantage of produce from our seasonal Farmers Markets, assuring the absolute freshest cake possible.

Because we are a small boutique shop, we do a limited amount of cakes each weekend, and encourage you to order or schedule your appointment as early as possible. We do our best to  accommodate smaller orders closer to the event date, so it’s never too late to try to place an order.

Award winning cake designer Lisa Raffael, is a nationally recognized leader in custom cake design, and is known for masterfully creating stunning, unique wedding cakes and elaborate specialty cakes, and gorgeous dessert tables.

A three-time medalist on Food Network Cake Challenge, featured on TLC’S Fabulous Cakes as one of the area’s top cake designers, and her work included in a movie by Columbia Pictures, Lisa’s work has garnered national attention, earning her scores of accolades, awards and honors.

In addition to her Food Network and TLC appearances, Lisa’s television works include being featured on the Phantom Gourmet for her Cake Truffles, and, one of her most memorable television appearances, a fundraiser for the TJ Martell Foundation, a non profit organization to help cure childhood diseases, working alongside country music star Troy Montgomery and his wife Angie.

Training & Background

Most recently, Lisa is a Craftsy Instructor, one of the web’s largest crafting communities, featuring the cake industry’s leading designers. Teaching the successful HOW TO START A CAKE BUSINESS, Lisa’s prestigious training and background includes degrees and certificates from Boston University School of Management, The Cambridge School of Culinary Arts, The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York and the International School of Confectionary Arts.

She has trained with the best: Norman Love, world-renowned Chocolatier and owner of Norman Love Confections, Colette Peters, internationally acclaimed cake designer and best selling author, and Mike McCarry, industry leader and pioneer of the cake decorating industry as we know it today.

A Chef Instructor at the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts when time allows, Lisa is continually learning and sharing her skills. Lisa brings her unique combination of management, marketing and culinary expertise to corporate clients through on-site staff training and consulting services.

While dedicated to her passion of cake decorating, Lisa is committed to helping others on many levels, as a Sugar Angel with Icing Smiles, a nonprofit organization providing special occasion cakes to ill children, with a portion of sales going to support this great organization.
